Kenan M. Peter, also known as Kaynan Kayphas, is a Nigerian artist based in Abuja, born on June 11, 1997, in Jebba, Kwara State, Nigeria. His artistic journey began in 2018, and since then, he has participated in numerous exhibitions, including the Reflection Exhibition, Roadless Travel Exhibition, and Let’s Go Pink (Breast Cancer Awareness Exhibition).

Kaynan's work is recognized for its use of oil paints, featuring powerful depictions of figures, nature, and symbolic imagery. His art is deeply influenced by his daily experiences and the truths and realities he encounters, which are reflected in his distinct visual language. His unique style has caught the attention of collectors and galleries worldwide. In December 2022, his piece Cyber Sickness was featured in the ARTVIA YOU Art Gala Auction in London. Kaynan is currently represented by ArtViaYou Gallery.

He credits his mentor, Kolapo Olorunyemi (also known as [mentor's other name or alias]), as a significant influence on his development as an artist.
